The New has Come...

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17, NIV)

As a believer in Jesus, you are a new creation! The crazy part is we have DNA that is infused by God. We are marked by the Holy Spirit to have a future and to be filled with hope! But it all begins when Christ comes and knocks on our hearts door and we let him in to take control. We are grafted into new life with a new spirit, and a new walk!

There may be “old” things in your life that you are trying to get rid of. Maybe you have old habits or addictions that you want to change. If you’re like me, you have attitudes and patterns that have been developed that need to be changed. Choosing the God way of life is the way to go. Remember today that the new has come. It’s a new year with new opportunities and responsibilities. It’s time for you to be the new you.
We pray that you choose this to be the year that you break old habits and addictions. Let this be the year that you move forward into a new life of victory. Let this be the year that you take hold of all the spiritual blessings the Lord has promised—peace, health, protection and victory.

Be encouraged today because no matter what is happening in your life right now, you have a chance for a new beginning. Choose today to leave the old behind—leave behind old behaviors, old thinking, and old words—and embrace the new by faith because this is your year to experience the new life that He has prepared for you!

When you begin to make new choices that produce new results, you will be amazed at how much life can be fulfilling at all levels! Remember the new only happens when we are choosing to allow Christ consume all parts of our lives then the new comes! Truthfully this is the best journey that we can choose, it is definitely not easy but it is worthwhile! So let’s choose “God first” living!!!!

Trust the Lord and Step through it...

"Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty
things, which you know not."(Jeremiah 33:3)

The year 2010 is closed and 2011 is ahead with new opportunities, new challenges. It is apparent that we need fresh direction, purpose and clarity. And like biblical characters, we need the supernatural to be a part of our journey—the recognition of calling out to God, understanding He hears and He will respond in ways that we do not always expect. Sometimes we don’t even comprehend but we know it is God! God’s plan is to grow us. He calls for our natural then He does the super becoming supernatural!
This year I really believe and expect a breakout year which will bring change. When God closes a door He always has a plan to open another. With that comes opportunity and challenges. The challenge is what do we do when the LORD opens a door for us? We may not be able to see everything on the other side of the door. Our mind takes over, fear battles faith, our natural lacks because we forget what HE promised!
Trust the Lord and step through it—even when we don't fully understand what God is doing. We have to walk in faith. Trust the Lord and step through it! We just have to be prepared to totally trust Him to guide our steps. We may feel like a child learning how to walk in the beginning, but once the faith kicks in, off we go! We can't feel our way into what God has prepared for us, because some things can't be touched. Trusting God means not relying on our ways; for example, we call on the Lord for an answer, then when He says move, and we don't like the direction He gives we question if it's Him. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding."(Proverbs 3:5) Some of our steps may be new to us, but God knows exactly where they lead to. He always knows the end from the beginning and always has our best interest at heart.
"Happy New Year" 2011
